Tantric Therapy

What is Tantric Therapy?

Tantric therapy seeks to refine sensitivity in order to expand and intensify orgasmic sensation by chaining together various muscle groupings in the bioelectrical reaction of orgasm.

Not only that, some Tantric massages also seek to tone and strengthen the genital muscles of men and women in order to provide greater support of bioenergy.

This work of intensifying orgasm has a therapeutic effect - energizing the chakras and regulating the production of hormones associated with pleasure and well-being - as well as a meditative, consciousness- and perception-expanding effect.

It should not, however, be confused with Tantric sex - called, in Sanskrit, Maithuna - or sex of any kind.

Massage, although it deals with sexual energy, proposes a breaking down of paradigms and concepts related to sexuality that, effectively, does not happen in a common sexual relationship, although there is no mention of it in the original tantric texts.

Despite using the term "massage", it actually has no direct connection with massage therapy, having different techniques, philosophies, aims and origins from massage therapy. Therefore at the international classification level, Tantric "massage" is not recognized as a massage per se, but only seen as an alternative body therapy, not belonging to the methods used by massage therapists in the world.
